Noosa Ultra Trail 2 4

//Cross COuntry 25

25KM RUN / 287m vert / SPECTACULAR start line

//Race Details

The Cross Country 25km is a point to point trail run from Cootharaba Road to Noosa District Sports Complex.

Access to the start will be by a 25-30 minutes ride on a courtesy coach.

There will be 4 groups SUPER EARLY, EARLY, STANDARD AND LATE. Bus seats will be allocated on a 1st come 1st serve basis – Early entrants get on early buses which we feel is the fairest method.

The course starts from Cootharaba Road which was used for the 1st time in 2026. Access to the lookout at Twin Hills View was not permitted due to ongoing landsliips and safety concerns.

Access to the start area will only be accessed by a 30 minute courtesy bus ride from Noosa District Sports Complex to the lookout area. There will be no vehicle access along Black Pinch Road with the exception of local residents and courtesy buses.

Whilst the word ‘fast’ is rarely used in trail running vernacular this is a ‘fast course’ worthy of a PB and perfectly suited for half marathon road runners as well as multi sport athletes wanting to feel the dirt under their soles!

With its ‘achievable’ distance and kilometres of smooth surfaces to be run on this is slated to be the most popular and enjoyable events for runners of all types on the Noosa Ultra-Trail® schedule!
